introduction

Hello, little snarklings, and welcome to my Gothic blog. I feel as though I should introduce myself, so I shall do that.

My name is Victorya Roze Tassi (I also go by Torya Roze) and I am a freshman in college. I live in wonderful Southern California, with my mama, my daddy and my two dogs.

I've been Goth since I was seventeen years old- I was looking for a way to express my pain and anger and I found it in my clothing style. I started out by wearing black lipstick with everything, believe it or not! Over the years, I've gone from extreme Goth to Gothic Lotia, and I am now a very happy (pardon the pun) quirky Goth.

What is quirky Goth, you may be asking?

For different people, Gothic means a lot of things. I will be covering what is means to be Goth, the Gothic culture, and most importantly of all, how to express yourself as a Goth without having your parents or friends flip the coffin over (again, pardon the pun). Some of my favorite topics included, "What is Goth?", "What are the differnet types of Goths?", Gothic stereotypes and labels (I HATE these), exmples of Gothic culture in today's world and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the important staples in a Gothic wardrobe.

I will also be posting YouTube videos and pictures from Google that prove my point, links to websites that sell Gothic clothes and accessories to show that I'm talking about, and pictures of myself in my outfits so that y'all may see how I incorporate my Gothic style into my (very hectic) everyday life.

I will also be acting as a close friend to thoses who have questions. Please don't be shy- I'll answer anything from friendship problems to a sudden death in the family. I've been told that I give out great advice, so now I'm choosing to put my talents to good use.
